My first visit to the Netherlands was in the remote year of 1971, and restricted to the small city of Breda.
Curious thing - I was going to the war in Africa and for two years the "Breda" a machine gun, was a comfortable company. I don't remember anything of the place, as I don't much about Amsterdam shortly visited later. Old and scarce memories, inviting me to use the proximity of Horacio (and the example of Tito) to a new and more detailed visit. |

A shopping center One of the most remarkable buildings in the centre of Amsterdam, the old post office, was transformed in a shopping center. Beach
We were in Scheveningen just once, in a sunny day of late August, when beaches in Portugal are starting the second half season. I was not impressed - the beach is wide and well equipped, but the rough sea and dark water didn't invite us (nor anyone else). I know - it's the risk of a first impression, but if that was the look in August... |
