Only a couple of quick passages in Switzerland were not enough to have a clear idea about the country.

Need to come back!

Genève

The city

Geneve is a city where I've been just once, with small kids that limited the visit.

However, I enjoyed what I saw, and, for sure, Geneve is a place where I would gladly return.

The Lake

Geneve lives around the lake, and its beauty is enhanced with gardens and parks all around.

Travelling with kids, we had to skip the centre of town, but they appreciated the freedom by the water, and the great views.

Lausanne

Lausanne was just a glimpse, in a quick passing by.

We loved the calm look and ambiance (with the funny detail that half of the people in a garden where we stopped to rest some minutes was speaking... Portuguese).

Anyway,... it needs another visit.

St Gothard

It was a memorable experience crossing St Gothard in August.

We were coming from the coast in Italy, still wearing our swimming suits, and suddenly we found ourselves in deep winter, with snow all around.

The landscape is awesome, and I will never forget the image of a tiny and beautiful shop, with very old wooden shelves, in the mountain, where a couple with two boys (as us) wearing heavy anoraks, were calmly playing cards.

What a sensation!
